There is a $15 dollar materials fee for our classes, so we can provide your child everything they will need for that week’s project. This festival, organized by Dr. Sharvari Dixit and Group, is a celebration of Gujurati cultural music and dance! There will also be an Proceeds from ticket sales will be used to fund class materials so our program can remain affordable and accessible for all!

In the first class of this two-week project, students will learn about color theory and acrylic painting techniques as they paint the water and lily pad background of their koi pond and outline their koi fish. In the second week, students will use fingerpainting techniques to add impressionistic style koi fish to their paintings.

Sign ups for this class close 24 hours before the day of the class, in order to ensure enough time to prepare materials for all attending students!

In our first soft opening class, students were led through an 8-part “About Me” comic project, where they drew their favorite hobbies and learned about different comic image styles!
